The set of Kundali Bhagya is all set to celebrate real-life weddings as two of its actors all set to tie the knot soon. The show’s lead actor Shraddha Arya is all set to get married next week in Delhi. On the other hand, the antagonist, Sanjay Gagnani will also take his nuptial vows with long-time girlfriend Poonam Preet on November 28.
Shraddha Arya has impressed people with her tremendous acting skills in shows like Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Tumhari Paakhi, and Dream Girl. Shraddha has also been a part of two Bollywood movies, Nishabd and Paathshaala. While her personal life has seen many ups and downs, with a broken engagement and a breakup, it looks like the actress has finally found her man and is all set to get hitched.
Sharddha Arya has kept her relationship under wraps and only a few close friends know about her wedding. ETimes got in touch with a source from the set of her TV show, Kundali Bhagya, which shared that the actress has already taken a break of two weeks and is all ready to become Mrs. The portal quoted its source as:
“Shraddha has kept the details regarding her marriage a closely-guarded secret. Not many know even the name of the guy, let alone how and when she met him. She has applied for around a two-week leave and shot with us her last episode yesterday before she becomes a Mrs. Her wedding will be a close-knit affair and only her close friends in the industry have been invited.”
Dating History
A source shared with indianexpress that after some bitter experience in relationships, Shraddha chose to opt for an arranged marriage. Her fiance works with the navy and is based in Delhi. “The ceremony will be a very closed affair with only both their families around. Shraddha and Rohan recently met and connected well. Rather than waiting, they decided to take the plunge immediately. The wedding ceremony will happen on November 16,” added the source.
Back in 2015, Shraddha Arya got engaged to an NRI, Jayant in a private ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance. But, after some months, the news broke out that the two have decided to part their ways mutually. Later, Shraddha had revealed that the talks of their break-up are real on the show, JuzzBaatt hosted by the famous actor, Rajeev Khandelwal. She had revealed:
“I had got engaged to a guy through an arranged marriage set up but it didn’t seem to materialise. Though we gave our 100 per cent to the relationship, we eventually decided to part ways.”
Later, Shraddha Arya had dated Alam Singh Makkar. However, they had parted ways a few months after participating in the show, Nach Baliye 9. Both Shraddha and Alam got engaged too on the show and in various interviews, they had revealed that they were dating each other for 8-9 months. According to a report in Bollywood Life, a close source to the couple had revealed that both of them had decided to end their relationship mutually. The source had revealed:
“They didn’t feel to take the relationship ahead. They just split a month or two ago and everything happened sans drama.”
Earlier, in an interview with The Indian Express, talking about accepting her relationship in public by participating in Nach Baliye 9, Shraddha Arya had stated:
“When I was first offered the show three months back, I outrightly rejected it. Never in my remotest thoughts did I plan this. But when they did not give up on me, I asked myself what was stopping me from doing the show? I was getting to learn different dance forms on such a big platform. I wondered why it is a taboo to talk about who you are dating publicly. It is so natural. I wanted to break that taboo that celebs have to keep their love life under wraps. I don’t know how the relationship will shape up in the future but I am in a happy phase right now. And I have no qualms in sharing that with the world.”

The actor struck gold with Kundali Bhagya, where her pairing with Dheeraj Dhooper made her a household name. Coming to her personal life, Shraddha had got engaged to an NRI in 2015 but soon called off her engagement. She was also seen participating with boyfriend Alam Makkar in Nach Baliye 9. However, the couple parted ways soon after.
Meanwhile, Kundali Bhagya’s popular actor Sanjay Gagnani is also tying the knot this month on November 28. He and Poonam have always been open about their relationship and are taking the plunge after dating each other for more than eight years. As per sources, the wedding will be solemnised in a gurdwara. They have also planned a lavish reception for their family and friends.
