The South South Apc Mini Rally turned out a huge success, the event was graced by powerful politicians across the South South Apc , but with majority from Akwa Ibom Support groups. The events started with a welcome address by the chairman, coalition of support groups, Akwa Ibom state whom are the co-organizers of the mini Rally.
The state chairman coalition of support groups in Akwa ibom state chapter Rt Hon Patty Etete Inemeh took out time to extol the lofty virtues of the Apc presidential flag bearer His Excellency Sen Bola Ahmed Tinibu and his Vice presidential candidate HE Sen Kashim Shettinma and why it is in the best interest of Akwa Ibomites to support and vote them into power Going further, the Chairman, acknowledged the complimentary support of the Leader of Apc in Akwa Ibom state Sen Godswill Akpabio urging the support groups to be the touch light bearers to highlight the need to vote and work for all Apc candidates in Akwa ibom State from President Bola Ahmed Tinibu as president, Senator Godswil Akpabio and Obong Akan Udofia as the next Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
He reminded the support groups and members present that their job as support group is just mobilisation and nothing else, urging members to get ready for a mass mobilisation movement that will soon hit all the local govts, ward’s, unit’s, nooks and crannies of everywhere we have people in Akwa Ibom state. He thanked the support groups for the honour done him and promised a very transparent but purpose driven leadership.
The Hon Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Obong Okon Umana whom was represented by Dr Ahmadu Attai a former state chairman in his own rights a power bloc, promised to support the support groups in their assignment and task of mass mobilisation, taking time to extol the sound virtues of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu and why his brethren should vote for Him.
In his speech, Atuekong Don Eriebet, a former Minister for Petroleum and a former National Chairman of a political party took time to express his wonderful experience in sound enterprise and lofty achievements in industry during his time at Lagos state and the positive roles of people like Bola Ahmed Tinibu in transforming Lagos state to what it is today believing that such an experience would greatly help Nigeria at this point.
The Director south south Directorate PCC, Ntufam Hillaid Etta took time to explain to the excited crowd to go home and tell their brother all the reason they should not vote PDP or YPP assuring the home crowd where’ their interest is most protected.
Obong Akan Udofia the Apc gubernatorial candidate illuminated the arena with his testament of the person of Sen Bola Ahmed Tinibu and why Akwa Ibomires should join him to vote for him in the presidential election. He also took time to extoll the good virtue’s of The Father of modem Akwa Ibom senator Godswill Akpabio and why the crowd should continue to support him.
The crowd was further wowed with the arrival of her Excellency Ekaette Unoma Akpabiio who represented her Husband Sen Godswiil Akpabio took time to described the Sterling leadership qualities of Sen Bola Ahmed Tinibu.
