The leadership of Me and You for Agege, a political pressure group of the All Progressives’ Congress, APC has appealed to the good people of Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Local Government Areas of Delta State to remain calm as the mandate freely given to Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive at the poll would be secured through the Court of Appeal.

This appeal was made after the judgement of the tribunal court at Asaba declared Hon. Solomon Ahwinawhi winner of the election on the ground that the educational credentials of Hon. Waive were not uploaded on INEC website.

Through a statement jointly signed by the National Coordinator and Director-General of the group, Comrade Oyesi Pedro and Comrade Akpobome Rufus Ibebe respectively, the group disclosed that it stands firmly in solidarity with Hon. Waive whom is believed to have clearly won the election.

The group went on to declare that the judgement of the tribunal is alien to the laws of the land. Describing the celebration of PDP members as premature jocularity, the group assured all supporters that the judgement would be upturned by the Appeal Court in no distant time.

In the statement signed by Comr. Akpomedawaro Ike, National Publicity Secretary, Me and You for Agege; the group earnestly called on party faithfuls and constituents of the Federal Constituency to remain unruffled as legal counsels to Hon Waive are worth the onions to restore the mandate through the appellate court.
