Dr. Godwin Maduka arrived Nigeria last week and since then he has enjoyed the company of the youths and the aged because of his uncommon and disarming humility.
You may not know that Dr. Maduka is very jovial and takes time out of his busy schedule to chat with his relatives, colleagues and admirers every day.
I had time to chat with the youths and the elders in Umuchukwu, Owerre Ezukala and Ogbunka communities and they kept praising his humility and kind heartedness despite acquisition of enormous wealth.
One of the most exciting moments of my life was the day he called me on the phone and addressed me in a local parlance ‘DI ANYI’ di anyi means “my bossom friend, my trusted ally.” Dr. Maduka’s voice was so sonorous, so soothing. That is an expression from a humble heart but it may surprise you that his true character may be smeared because of his involvement in politics but he will not be deterred.
To buttress the above assertion, on thursday 12th November 2020, Doctor Godwin Maduka, Okosisi Orumba and the lion of Africa was honoured at the International Conference Center Abuja as the most friendly Philanthropist of the year presented by the Deputy Governor of Borno State Alhaji Umar Kadafur and Peace man of the year 2020 which was presented by a PDP stakeholder Alhaji Buba Galadima.
No doubt, a friendly man is a humble man and a humble man is friendly and peaceful. Let’s forget the antics of detractors and continue to support this humble, peaceful, loving and benevolent man.
I am talking about Dr. Godwin Maduka, Anambra State 2021 Governorship aspirant with the heart of gold.
