Dr. Godwin Maduka was at Ojoto Idemili South in Anambra State on Friday, 18th December.
According to Dr. Emezie Madu, he was welcomed on arrival by teeming supporters, including the Chairman of PDP in Idemmili South, Hon Ndu Ikeokwu.
Okosisi described his governorship ambition as a divine mandate.
Dr. Godwin Maduka has these to say on the issue of energy as contained in his 10 point agenda.
“To achieve Renewable Energy and Sustainable development in Anambra State I will do the following:
⬆️Map out a comprehensive and coherent energy policy that is essential in guiding the citizens towards an efficient usage of its energy resources.
⬆️I will Promote energy-efficient products and appropriate practices on the side of end users and energy generation.
⬆️To create awareness on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
⬆️Establish an agency to promote the use of energy-efficient products and ensure appropriate practices.
⬆️Develop and imbibe energy efficiency technologies. Establish a testing and standard laboratory for renewable energy technologies.
⬆️I will take advantage of global partnership, such as the Residential Energy Efficiency Project initiative of UK, to assist Anambra State in a creative integration of Renewable Energy System.
⬆️Establish a renewable energy funding/financing agency, to promote the use of energy-efficient products and ensure appropriate practices.
⬆️Establish testing and standard laboratory for renewable energy technologies and take advantage of global partnerships to assist Anambra State in a creative integration of Renewable Energy System.
