Over 80% of the current Nigerian primary energy consumption is met by petroleum. This is very alarming because overdependence on fossil fuels derived from petroleum for local consumption depletes resources and creates negative impact on the environment
This is the very reason Dr. Godwin Maduka wants to deviate from the norm in Nigeria and introduce the use of solar and wind energy. Anambra State and indeed Nigeria will overcome energy crisis by exploring abundant renewable energy resources in the country.

Dr. Godwin Maduka is a ‘promise assured’ and just six months after his emergence as a Governor, Ndi Anambra will thank God for making a wise choice. Among all the aspirants its only Dr. Godwin Maduka that says I will repeat what I have done in my community and environs, in the entire state. Others are only making promises.
