Ikorodu North local council development area on Thursday, hosted Chief Press Secretaries to the Chairmen in Lagos state known as “CPS 57”.
The gathering which witnessed a very large turnout after a long break of Covid-19 pandemic had a very fruitful deliberations on various issues.
The Chairman of the group, CPS Shamsudeen Ajimomuya from Shomolu local government brilliantly led the group to successful deliberations.
The Chairman of the council Hon. Builder Deola Banjo welcomed the group to the council and gave words of encouragement.
He said they should be dedicated to their jobs and be loyal to their Bosses.
Earlier, the group unanimously extended the tenure of CPS Ajimomuya’a cabinet till after the local council elections and swearing in of new government in all the councils in Lagos state.
Ilyas Babatunde Abubakar, the CPS of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA was unanimously appointed as Retreat Committee Chairman and he took the oath of office with his committee members.
The group since inception have been organising annual retreat where they took out time to meet for trainings and elect their new officers into various positions.
This year’s retreat will however devoid of election as the group unanimously extended the tenure of the present Executives.
