JUNE 12: THE DECEITFUL DEMOCRACY OUTPLAY OF NIGERIANS' INTELLIGENCE

This day been the 12th day of June 2020 has been set aside by the Nigerian Government to celebrate the Advent of democracy. The question is what truly is democracy, what impacts are expected of democracy and have we in any form experienced this celebrated democracy.

Don’t be too quick to be fooled and don’t accept to be fooled; democracy as defined is the presence of a Government of the people provided by the people and for the benefit of the people.

Today, can we establish any form of the sustainable benefits of democracy to the Nigeria People? The out play of insecurity, injustice coupled with growing pace of corruption have no bearing or correlation to what democracy denotes. You don’t have to accept what’s not in existence; you are an adult and a citizen for that matter that is privileged to ascertain what is good and what is bad.

The recent killings, rape crime and other forms of injustice and persistence of inequality are correlations of modern democracy which Africa people adopted from their colonizers. We are quick to adopt without considering the consequences; modern democracy has spelt more hardship to us Africa People than we can ever imagine.

This is therefore a necessity we return to Africa ancient democracy; many argue that ancient Africa democracy was associated with slavery of selves. Yes! It was but not to the exploitation of selves; slavery can be defined in different and personal views. One who is hungry might seek for aids and decide to work for food might be perceived as a slave by someone but might be perceived by another as a worker working to earn a living.

One thing more interesting with the ancient Africa democracy is that leadership was divinely sorted and divinely guarded unlike the modern democracy that are oversee by man and purported by man for man’s selfish gain.

Modern democracy which most Africans celebrate are synonymous with modern day slavery and immense exploitation; we have no divine attestation to check and balance the modern day democratic leadership and this has spelt more practices of mal-leadership. Unlike ancient Africa democracy, mal-leadership is often faced with the wraths of the gods/ancestors who were mediators of the Divine Creator of mankind.

I stand to disagree with the celebration of modern democracy because it is not our democracy but Western democracy and this democracy has not only driven us to immense suffering but driving us to doom; we must learn to agree we are humans and deserve better.

Till we agree to return to ancient Africa democracy, Africans as political beings will continue to be victims of the exploitation of modern democracy; there will be increasing crime, deaths, injustice, corruption and other hosts of defaults and strategies meant to drive us into extinction.

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT WHEN OUR ROOTS ARE CUT OFF WE CAN NEVER STAND STRAIGHT NOR MOVE OR PROGRESS BUT DANCE TO THE TONE THAT HOLDS US.

Africa Modern democracy is a string held by the Western world. If I may ask, do you know what the string depicts?

The string depicts the following:

1. Dictatorship of Africa leaders

2. Corruption of Africa countries

3. Nepotistic leadership of Africa countries

4. Cronyism and tribalism of Africa leadership

5. The wealthy and powerful fortune of Africa leaders

The imperialists control and manipulate Africans’ affairs through the aforementioned; they bargain Africa full freedom with the above. This bargain has become successful because Africa leaders are in haste for wealth, power and fame.

The present day undemocratic engagements are valid clue of the extent to which Africa leadership is a flop and will remain so till we agree to return to ancient Democratic process.

In ancient democracy as I read and told by my elders; no leader or government official can cheat the subjects and go scot-free without receiving the wrath of the gods.

Let me be plain here, Africa present democracy can never be better nor will her subjects enjoy the proposed prospects of democracy with just our out-spoken words or actions; there’s need for a RETURN TO ANCIENT AFRICA DEMOCRACY.

We must see Africa as a land with no Government because our leaders are under Western payrolls. So when you see Africa leaders acting ignorant of our present sufferings and underdevelopment; let them be because they just received salaries from Western countries.

Nigeria celebrating JUNE 12 as democracy day in replacement of May 29 which was established to honour the annulled Presidential election that emerged Chief M. K. O Abiola as President is indeed commendable but the inability to put forward exemplary measures to drive home the promising pasted benefits of the adopted Western democracy has elicited the need to abandon and disengage any form of celebration to it because it’s like glorifying the plans of the Imperialists who have carved us into divided territories.

Today, I stand with the host of Patriots who see the pains and sufferings of the adopted Western democracy melted on us Africa People (Nigeria inclusive) to reject and disregard the celebration or acknowledgement of the democracy day put to us because we can’t keep suffering and smiling.

I am Umudjere Africaman and I leave you with words of Fela Anikulapo kuti of living memory:

“My people are suffering and smiling”.

I and my family refuse to be suffering and smiling that’s why we have stood against the celebration/acknowledgement of this democracy day because we are yet to achieve democracy for Nigerians.

Thanks for your understanding, now and always.

Revolutionary Regards,
