Meet Manchester City Football star, Benjamin Mendy who raped 3 women in one night.
The Manchester City left-back and a friend turned the “pursuit of women for sex into a game”, their rape trial has heard.
The role of Mendy’s friend, Louis Saha Matturie, was “to find young women and to create the situations where those young women could be raped and sexually assaulted”, the court was told on the first day of the trial.
Mendy, 28, a French player who was suspended by Manchester City when he was charged a year ago, is accused of eight counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault.
Matturie, 40, is accused of eight counts of rape and four of sexual assault.
Following a pool party at his mansion and a subsequent nightclub outing, Benjamin Mendy raped three women in the same night, a court has been told.
The 28-year-old is charged with raping three women following a party at his Mottram St. Andrew, Cheshire, house and a trip to Manchester’s China White nightclub on July 23–24, 2016.
Prosecutor Timothy Cray QC said the jury at Chester Crown Court on Monday that Mendy raped a 22-year-old and two 19-year-old women on the evening of July 23 and early on the morning of July 24.

One of the 19-year-olds and a second 22-year-old lady are both suspected of being raped during the same time period by his co-accused, 40-year-old Louis Saha Matturie.
When the lockdown limitations were relaxed and the new Premier League season began, according to Mr. Cray, this incident occurred.
Saha allegedly requested one woman to drive him to a nearby store during Mendy’s pool party.
The jury was informed that on the way back, he attempted to kiss her and grabbed hold of her bare legs.
Saha allegedly invited a woman, 22, who worked at a nightclub in Manchester, to the pool party in exchange for cash in an effort to “procure” her as a possible victim.
Mendy invited her to the home’s theater room, and when she didn’t show up after 10 minutes, she told another female to go look for her.
The court heard that although the 22-year-old did not want intercourse, he “persisted in his demands” until she gave in, at which point he raped her.
The other girl did find her, according to the testimony given to the jury, but she encountered two of Mendy’s friends who were in her way.
Mendy, Saha, and others proceeded to Manchester’s China White nightclub following the pool party.
It is claimed that two 19-year-old women who attended the pool party and returned to Mendy’s home after the club were both sexually assaulted.
One recalled being in the pool while intoxicated.
The next thing she remembered was being held behind her back while lying face down on a sofa in the living room.
The court heard that Mendy was raping her while telling her to “don’t move, don’t move.”
The same woman is also accused of being raped by Saha, the court heard.
According to testimony given in court, the second 19-year-old likewise went to bed only to wake up to find Mendy raping her.
One accuser, who initially met Mendy in Barcelona, reportedly ended up at his house after going to Manchester with the player and another man for dinner and drinks.
The woman, according to Mr. Cray, made it abundantly obvious that she had no interest in Mendy.
The following day, she was taking a shower when Mendy walked in and began touching himself in front of her.
She yelled at him to go and made an attempt to cover herself with a towel.
She also attempted to retrieve her panties from her luggage, but Mendy snatched it away while muttering, “I just want to see you.”
The woman ended up on Mendy’s lap when they ended up on the bed because, according to the prosecutor, she was unable to exit the bathroom.
She tried to move, but she was unable to get away from him, the man claimed.
There are 22 counts or charges; if you feel overwhelmed by that, I can guarantee you that you will have a lot of advice on how to approach it, the judge added to the jury.
“Don’t let that intimidate or overwhelm you. November could be the end date for this trial.
Mendy has played for Manchester City since 2017, when he joined from Monaco for £52m.
He won the World Cup with France in 2018 and the Premier League title with Man City three times between 2018 and 2021.
The offences are alleged to have happened between October 2018 and August 2021.
Mendy was described as a “reasonably famous football player” by Mr Cray, who said because of that “wealth and status, others were prepared to help him to get what he wanted”.
The trial, which is scheduled to last 15 weeks, continues.
