The Nigerian entertainment industry is in mourning as Veteran singer, Olanrewaju Ganiu Fasasi aka Sound Sultan died.
Sound Sultan was announced earlier in the year to have being battling with throat cancer. Source states he was undergoing treatment. While Nigerians and fans kept the hope up by praying for a positive recovery but the new of his death broke out today which has not only made the Entertainment industry hurt but also his fans and fellow Nigerians who believe in him and his talents.
According to his brother, Dr. Kayode Fasasi, in a statement, Sound Sultan passed on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 44 after a battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
He was within 24hrs buried in the US based on Islamic rite.
He is survived by a beautiful wife, three children and his siblings
