AN OPEN LETTER TO THE VICE-CHANCELLOR OF EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY, PROF EDWARD OLANIPEKUN BY A STUDENT OF THEATRE AND MEDIA ARTS EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY.

Combatant greetings to you in the name of Aluta mother of all struggle; The students of theatre and media arts at Ekiti state university we appreciate the efforts of the management towards the movement and the growth of the great department.

Mr vice chancellor sir, The Students of the department are hereby pleading to the school management for media equipment for media students to improve their learning and a conducive theatre building.

The department is currently having a small theatre building, with bad chairs for students to seat on. I spoke about this issue in the past two meetings you had with the student representatives of each class, departments, faculty, and the sug body during Temmytee’s regime and you said you will see to the situation the department is facing. But nothing has been done yet to favor the department. The theatre building is no more conducive for the students and the audience coming for a performance.
