The Southwest Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), High Chief Sanya Atofarati has described the allegation by former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose that the just concluded zonal Congress was rigged in favour of loyalists of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde as most unfortunate.

Atofarati in a statement made available to journalists entitled “Fayose: Let Your Word Be Your Bond ” said it was sad Fayose who had adjudged, in the full glare of camera that the processes that led to the emergence of winners in the elections were not only credible but transparent could turn 360 degree to castigate it .

Fayose had, on a live television programme, Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television said the last Monday Zonal Congress held in Osogbo, Osun state was rigged.

The PDP spokesman said he doubts if Mr Fayose had good intentions to see the opposition party bounce back to its previous winning streak in the region.
