Foremost businessman and National President, Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Ichie Sunday Ephraim Obiadinbugha Ezeobiora; who doubles as the Executive Chairman of Sunchi Integrated Farms Limited, is set to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
With decades of experience in various industries, including auto spare parts, manufacturing, and agro-allied businesses, Ezeobiora has made significant contributions to the agricultural sector in Nigeria.
Sunchi Integrated Farms Limited, under Ezeobiora’s leadership, has emerged as a leading agribusiness in the country. Specializing in poultry farming, hatchery operations, feed production, and refining of soya oil, the company has recently expanded into crop production of spices, legumes, cereals, and palm plantations, strategically positioning itself to benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
Ezeobiora’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1985, honing his skills through diverse business ventures in cities like Kano, Lagos, Nnewi, and Enugu, as well as exploring international markets. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish three successful companies: E. Sunny Vespa International Ltd, Sunchi Integrated Farms Ltd, and Sunchi Plantations and Agro Processing Ltd.
Recognized for his outstanding achievements, Ezeobiora was bestowed with the honorary title of Ichie, with the tittle OKPATA OZUORA, by his hometown of Amesi in December 2015. In December 2018, he was further coronated as the traditional head of his Kindred, carrying the title of EZEIFESINACHI. In December 2022 he given the prestigious title of Eze Ifechukwu Enugwu Ukwu na Umunri.
Ezeobiora holds a Bachelor of Business (BBA) in Strategic Management from European Global School University Paris. As a fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN), he actively contributes to the organized private sector through various memberships and leadership roles. Notably, he serves as the National President of the Poultry Association of Nigeria, Vice Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi States Branch), and a member of several business associations.
Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Ezeobiora demonstrates philanthropy at its finest. He serves as a patron of the Red Cross Society Amesi Chapter, supports the Panthers Sports Club, and is the founder and financier of the Nze & Lolo Raphael Ezeobiora Ezendu Education Foundation for Amesi Youth. Additionally, he has held significant positions within community organizations, including former Treasurer of the Amesi Improvement Union and current Vice Chairman of the Amesi Traditional Council of Chiefs.
