THE THREE (3) PILLARS OF CHRISTIANITY’ AND THE THREE COUNSELS OF CHRISTIANITY
The faith of our Lord Jesus runs on three pillars of faith which are:
1) The pillar of prayer
2). The pillar of fasting
3(. The pillar of alms giving also known as love
These are the three things Jesus said in Mathew 6:2 ” therefore , when thou doest thy alms do not sound a trumpet b4 thee as the hypocrites do …they have their own reward.
Remember according to the bible , b4 you pray , you have to give alm or show love first .The number one in the pillar of Christianity is love .The second is the pillar of prayer and the third is the pillar of fasting .
If you are fasting without praying , it is not fasting and has no power and God will never reward u bcos it does not move Him . The time you are fasting , you should be praying .If you are praying and your are not given alms or show love to others , you are not praying ..
It is because of this three pillars that the angel of the Lord appear unto Cornelius and said , your prayer and alms giving had ascended up to God as a memorial .And the bible says Cornelius at this time was fasting .See Acts 10:1 to 30.
As a believer or born again and you do not practice the three pillars of Christianity ( alms giving , fasting and praying , you have fail as a Christian .The devil and his demons do not like when the above three pillars are carried out .It really paralyse and destroy their kingdom ..This is why the demonic kingdom will make sure you should carry out all the above three . Some people practice one of the three , others two and only few practice the three pillars .You will not shake and disturb the satanic kingdom if you do not practice all three pillars
Acts 6:4 We should give ourselves continually and constantly to prayer and the ministry of the word
THE THREE COUNSEL OF CHRISTIANITY ( OUR FAITH )
These three counsels are :
The perfection of charity
2)The perfection of obedience
3) The perfection of chastity
These means that if some one accept Christ today or become born again , the first thing he should be thought is alm giving or love and not prayer and fasting .The second and third thing to teach a new convert is prayer and fasting respectively .As a believer and you do not give alms , you are not practicing the three pillars of Christianity .
1 Timothy 3:15. but if I tarry long …..the pillar and the ground of the truth ..If you truly love people , you will be touch to give alms or help . When your prayer is not creating a different , you now move into the arena of fasting so that you can give out to them .
WHAT DOES THE PERFECTION OF CHARITY MEAN
It means , you should be growing in charity ( love or given ) .It is this charity or giving that will draw people to Christ.
As a believer you should show love to others .Unfortunately , many are believers but still hold malice , hatred or offence. Doing this only open doors for demonic attack .When you hold an offence nothing works in your life. They use this door to steal our blessings.
Any believer who is struggling to pray , fast or give alms or show love to others is still babe in the things of God . Fasting is not limited to good only . It means abstaining from what you love best .If you love good the most , then stay away from food .If you love sex or going out , then stay away from them .
The bible says we should love one another .It is this love that we show to one another that the world will know we are the true disciples Christ Jesus
No wonder why Jesus was on the cross , He ask God to forgive us .It is same love that made Stephen when stone to dead , he cry out to God not to count this as sin unto them .It is out of love that Jesus rescue us from sin.
John 13:35 By this all men shall know that you are truly my disciple. This mean if some one offends you, you have to forgive them.
As a believer if you fail in any of the three pillars of faith you have really backslided .The first root of Christianity is love because love conquer multitudes of sin .
When we stand b4 the Lord , He will not ask us of the sin we committed bcos the blood of Jesus has taken care of that but He will ask us of those we show love of .If we walk in love , we will not end up in sin .This explain why God says three things will remain in this world ( hope , love and faith ) .The greatest is love . if we love one another , we will not hold offence , we will not indult any one , not steal , not commit fornications or immorality .
If you want to fulfil and keep the ten commandments you should walk in love .If we love one another , we will not sleep with one another spouses .
James 2:8 if you fulfil the royal law according to the 10th commandment , thy shall love thy neighbour as thyself…
This means we should love God who created us and also our neighbours ( other humans ).
Our Christian growth is measure by love.
See Math 19:21 Jesus said unto him if thou will be perfect go sell thou has and give to the poor and thou shall has treasure in heaven and come follow me.
HOW DO MEN BECOME RICH OR POOR ON EARTH :
According to the bible, if you give to the rich , you will become poor .
proverb 22:16 He that giveth to the rich will have want or poor .He that oppresses the poor to have riches , shall surely become poor .Given to the rich is an or that attract the poverty wind into your house .
Do not give to people who do not need what you given out .In the other hand , when you take money from the poor hoping you will become rich , you will become poor.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO BECOME RICH:
You need to give to the poor if you want to become rich .If you want to be rich and wealthy like others rich and wealthy men , the secret is to honour them.
See Hebrew 7:7 Without controversy the lesser will be bless by the greater.
Honour the rich means do not speak evil of them in your heart .Malachi teaches us what honour is. To honour some one means to show them respect
The bible does not say we should not give to the rich but if we want to secure wealth and riches , we should give to the poor.
If we honour the rich , it is a law in the spirit realm that they will take us to their realm .If you want to be married , be successful in your education, business, career, have good kids , destroy barrenness etc look for some one who has all what you looking for and honour that person .Base on this spiritual law , he will take you to his realm.
WHAT DOES HONOUR MEAN:
MAlachi 1:6 to 8 .it tells us what honour is .
When ever you meet a rich and very successful man , do not be in a haste to give so u will be rich like him but you should honour him .Your given will not do him anything. Honouring him means you are honouring the grace upon his life .
From Genesis to Revelation given to the poor is over emphasize than given to any other person.
God is soo rich that He does not need anything from us .When ever we give to God , we are not doing so to make Him rich but our given is to honour Him .All those who give to God without honour , end up getting nothing ..The principle of given to the rich or the greater is honour .
What the rich is looking for is not the gift but the honour that comes with the gift .The rich and the wealthy are not move by your gift .If you gift to the rich and he does not feel honour , you lost it .You give to the pour bcos they need it.
You can say man if God you have bless me mightily with your teachings and I honour the grace upon your life and I am sowing this seed toward the grace that you carry by honouring . You can use this spiritual principle to achieve anything in life u want from some one who has it.
