Setting the record straight.

It has been widely observed with dismay, the misinterpretation of today’s election tribunal judgement flying all over the social media between the Young Progressives Party Candidate and my Candidacy in the last general election.

After a vivid study of the judgement, I will like to appeal to my overwhelming supporters to be calm as the judgement is still very much in our favour. However, I will like to set the record straight:

1. That the honorable court ruled that the election was fairly won by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). However, ordered a rerun within a timeframe of 90days in 8 polling units in Umueje Community of Ayamelum local government area.

2. That the honorable court didn’t order the cancellation of any result from the previous elections held in each of the respective wards and polling units.

1. While we explore the option of appealing the case, i have no doubt that our supporters in the affected areas are ready and willing to buttress the victory the more.

In inview of this, I urge my supporters, family and well wishers to remain calm as no distraction will deter me from performing my legislative obligations to deliver on my campaign promises. I appreciate you all.
