THE PENDULUM HAS SWUNG TOWARDS DR. GODWIN MADUKA.
As the PDP Primary election draws nearer; following the zoning of the Governorship Ticket to Anambra South by the National Working Committee, all other Aspirants from Anambra South have decided to step down and collapse their party structures to support Dr. Godwin Maduka.
This decision was unanimously reached by the aspirants after an emergency meeting of all the Aspirants presided by a national leader of the party who chosed to remain anonymous. During his interactive session with all the Aspirants, he revealed on the need to accept the decision of the NWC on zoning its ticket to Anambra South and the need for all the Aspirants to arrive at a conclusion and throw their weight to one person from Anambra South in unity, which will assure them Agu Awka. He encouraged aspirants who are current serving members of the party to work towards ensuring that PDP Wins come November 6th Governorship election instead of coming as an opposition.
Source revealed that Senator Uche Ekwunife and Hon. Chris Azubogu were asked to step down and complete the Mandate given to them by the party so as to enable them field a standard Candidate who has the capacity to destroy opposition in all ramification.
While addressing the candidates, he cleared Sen. Uche Ekwunife and Hon. Chris Azubogu on the need for them to step down and make sure PDP Wins November 6th Governorship election, as they will not lose anything if they eventually lose out on the primary election where both of them will still go back to the house of Assembly after causing problem for PDP at the polls.
It was also revealed that the pendulum is drastically swinging towards Dr. Godwin Maduka due to his wide acceptance and determination to restore PDP in Anambra State. Having known that Dr. Godwin Maduka has the capacity, the antecedents and the wherewithal to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on November 6th, 2021 governorship election in Anambra State. All the Aspirants have anonymously agreed to step down for Dr. Godwin Maduka and give him their maximum support in order to win Anambra State.
The meeting was a success but later turned out to be a ground of different contentions where Sen. Uche Ekwunife and Hon. Chris Azubogu refused to step down for Dr. Godwin Maduka after all other Aspirants have accepted to throw their weights and support Dr. Godwin Maduka, but chosed to threaten the party with destruction if they stop them From achieving their ambition of becoming a Governor.
Sen. Uche Ekwunife further stated that she is a woman with lots of influence on anybody she wants to control in Anambra State and have the power to get anything she want without minding how anybody feels about it, therefore, her ambition is her priority. Moreover, she knows how to convince delegates to vote her.
