As Edozie Njoku Doctors Supreme Court Judgement

EVIL HAS EXPIRY DATE AS SUPREME COURT WADES INTO EDOZIE NJOKU’S DOCTORING OF ITS JUDGMENT

I have followed the growth of APGA since it was founded and can confidently tell whoever that cares to know that nobody fights the party and goes scot-free. Name them: Chekwas Okorie, Martin Agabso, Ozo Nwabueze, Jerry Obasi, Alhaji Masala, etc. Check out the people and tell me how life treats them now. It is one misfortune after another. In fact, life has not been normal for them.

The same fate obviously awaits Edozie Njoku and his gang. Njoku’s case would be worse because he did not have any justification for all he is doing against the party.

This is a man who has no legal or constitutional claim to leadership of the party and is busy masquerading as chairman.

I can recall vividly how Edozie Njoku collected money from a top Imo politician in 2018 to see if he could contest the chairmanship of the party. He set the ball rolling by procuring a draft for N250,000. He took the draft to the APGA Secretariat then at 41B Libreville Crescent, Wuse 2 to exchange it for the form for chairmanship.

But unfortunately, he made the move very late as the party had shut its door to sale of forms. This was on May 28, 2019 – three clear days to the National Convention of the party scheduled to hold in Awka, Anambra State.

Surprisingly, in the evening of May 31, 2019, Edozie Njoku announced himself National chairman from a non-existent national convention purportedly held in Owerri.

Meanwhile, Ozonkpu Ike Oye had emerged the national chairman of the party for a second term from the national convention held in Awka and monitored by INEC.

From the above it is right to conclude that Edozie Njoku had been a merry-go round. He has never had any justifications for his actions against the party.

Even all his legal battles against the party have hit the rocks. His appeal against the judgment of Justice CC Okah of Awka High Court was dismissed by the Court of Appeal, Abuja presided over by the President of the Court of Appeal herself.

The Court of Appeal described his suit as an abuse of court process. It emphatically stated that it stood by the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Kano which declared Victor Oye as national chairman of APGA.

Again, the suit he secretly filed at Bauchi which was reassigned to Justice AR Mohammed of Federal High Court, Abuja in which he sought the Order of Mandamus for INEC to recognize him as national chairman of APGA was also dismissed. This was on April 6, 2022.

His effort to be joined as an interested party in the suit by Jude Okeke at Court of Appeal, Kano was also futile. From Birnin Kudu High Court through the Court of Appeal, Kano to the Supreme Court, Edozie Njoku was never a party on record.

The Supreme Court in its judgment of October 14, 2021 affirmed the judgment of Court of Appeal, Kano; dismissed all outstanding motions and application for joinder and awarded a cost of N1m each to Victor Oye and APGA.

Shockingly on May 9, 2022 the news filtered that Edozie Njoku had procured a review of the judgment of the Supreme Court in which his name was substituted in place of Victor Oye. Up till date there is no evidence that the Supreme Court ever sat to review any such judgment.

Is it not preposterous that somebody who was not a party on record in a suit would benefit from the judgment in that case?

The latest development is that the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) has stepped into the matter to unravel the truth. Edozie Njoku who had been evasive was arrested by the police on July 21, 2022 to reveal all he knew about the matter.

Since then Edozie Njoku has been all over the place seeking to salvage his sinking ship and sunken image. He is moving about with money seeking how to influence officials of INEC and Supreme Court to save him from jail which stares him in the face.

Interestingly, nobody is paying attention to him.

At the Supreme Court, everybody is on his toes since the FCID delivered a letter to it seeking clarification on the matter the second time.

Already, the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, and the Chief Registrar, Hajo, have stepped into the matter.

An inside source at the apex court revealed that the top officials were shocked by the preliminary findings and are doing everything possible to ensure that justice is done to save the image of the Court from further damage.
