Dozens of companies have pulled their advertisement from Big Brother Spain after videos of Carlota Prado alleged sexual assault goes viral.

While in the house, drunk, in 2017, Jose Maria Lopez Perez tried to have sex with Carlota Prado after she had passed out in the house.

The tape from the 2017 show, was never broadcast but was leaked to the Spanish press in November.

The video showed Carlota begging for the video to be stopped, after she was sent to the diary room the next day to watch a video of Jose Maria Lopez Perez apparently trying to have sex with her after she had passed out from drinking.

The incident occurred on November 3 2017 after a boozy party in the Spanish Big Brother house in Guadalix de la Sierra north of Madrid.

There Jose Maria Lopez Perez and Carlota Prado, had begun a relationship on the show.

Lopez on the show, according to the state prosecutors, made movements with an “obvious sexual content” under the bedsheets after she downed at least four tequilas.

He allegedly took her clothes off and continuing to touch her up and making “highly sexual” movements despite her being in a state of unconsciousness.

Programme workers intervened when she pulled the sheets back in the early hours of the morning and they saw the state she was in. Hours later she was shown what happened.

Lopez Perez is now facing a charge for assault as state prosecutors in Madrid have submitted an indictment demanding Lopez Perez receives a two and a half year prison sentence if he is convicted of sexual abuse.

He has been charged but no trial date has yet been set.

The prosecutors also want the 2017 Spanish Big Brother contestant and the show producer’s Zeppelin TV to pay £5,000 in compensation.

In the case of the producer, the compensation demand relates to an alleged failure to show Carlota the images without psychological assistance.
