Despite the distinguishing background of Kamala Harris, an Asian-American woman whose mother is an Indian and father is a Jamician, though birthed in America; she emerged the first woman to become vice president-elect in the united states of America.

Kamala’s achievement is a milestone that must be celebrated by every coloured persons, especially woman around the world. She took her first role as an activist and display the leadership strength when was in high school at the age of thirteen, she organised children in her neighbourhood to protest against community rules that kept them from playing on the lawn in front of their home back in Montreal, Canada. She’s known for putting her best in everything she does, so much that for most of her achievements she has always begin the first female to attain it, this is a trait that should not be ignored by every average girl and young woman in the world today.

While accuring her degree, she was know for her outstanding performs, winning various competitions, as a lawyer, she is always on the right side of the law making sure the unjust are duly punished, as the first coloured female attorney general in California her role in the fight against indiscipline in the state and among high school students, making them go to prison when necessary can not be ignored. Also, she made sure no one is kept in prison unjustly and she was always fighting against police brutality.

Moreso, Kamala during campaign made it clear that she would be paving the way, giving women the opportunity to take lead roles in the society and politics which she believes will be one of her greatest achievement in the new office. She said in a speech that making living and working in the united states better by offering better working packages, benefits and increased minimum wages for the American including immigrants. She plans on representing the black people to make sure every race and colour are treated fairly under her tenure. Kamala is the new movie to be watched closely by every girl and young woman and football match to be observers closely by also the male to get inspired.

Unlike Liberia whom have once had a female president, most other countries in the world are still not finding women suitable for a post as that of a president or vice president. The American politics is the same, as it has always limit the female gender from post like that which Kamala has just achieved, through all the disadvantage, discouragement, limitations. She has found her way to the top giving every woman new strength to do more. Getting the party ticket is made usually made difficult, party’s votes majority votes, the whole political setting is not just very favourable yet she is an heroin today.

Weather Kamala Harris is sworn in officially into her new office or not she would forever be remembered as the first woman to have made this historic achievement. Eradicating every limitations, discrimination, inequality issues, raising above silence and intimidation.
