What Ebubemmuonso said concerning the growing touts and agboro in Anambra state is nothing but the truth, I hope Governor Soludo will go and reassess his workers if they are still living up to expectations because even Hawkers and wheelbarrow pushers are still compelled to pay taxes in Anambra state.

Are you aware now in Anambra state that motorist like Keke drivers, shuttle drivers, bus drivers and others who have been given a definite tax amount to pay every month or weekly are now paying double in Anambra state? Are you aware that after paying the compulsory tax of the state government, the Agboros at different parks and on the roads will still compel them to pay extra amount which is the usual thing they pay even before the coming of Governor Soludo, so nothing changed.

I now ask, of what good thing have the Soludo administration done for us since the old transport business has remained business as usual even worst now?

The major problem now in this festive period is that the cost of fuel is very high, then when Keke, shuttle and bus drivers are compelled to pay their stated tax levy coupled with that of the illegal Agboro payments, then the masses will now be left to suffer all these extra cost in transportation.

It must be noted that the transportation cost in every part of Anambra state is some thing else. The amount of money paid on transportation is now very high, unbearable and exorbitant amounts, too bad.

I therefore advise that instead of Soludo media attacking Rev Fr Ebubemmuonso message, they should advise Soludo to look into the points Fr Ebubemmuonso raised and immediately set up a monitoring team that will begin immediate supervision on what is truly happening within the transport sector and in the tax payments in Anambra state.

Am afraid, if nothing urgent is done to control the situation, Anambra will soon turn into a constant war zone between drivers and passengers because the transport sector is a very sensitive sector that affects so many other sectors in Anambra state.

We advise Soludo as the Governor of Anambra state to listen to the voice of the people and also take the necessary actions in addressing the issues and not trying to be a Mr know it all at every given time. If Soludo feels otherwise, then he should go into Onitsha and so many business areas in Anambra to verify all these to see the painful condition the masses go through everyday which is not supposed to be so.
