Leader and Vice Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government, Okada, Edo State, Hon Maureen Osaro Ekhoragbon (JP), resigned on Wednesday.

According to her resignation letter, she resigns due to to the political and Governance and other pressing issues.

Hon Maureen Osaro Ekhoragbon (JP) thank the People of Ovia North East, APC and leaders for the great trust given her to serve.

“I want to us this opportunity to thank the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, for the opportunity to serve.”

“I also want to thank the Executive Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government, Hon. Scott Oghamudia.”

“I tender my resignation based on Administrative, Political and Governance ground as Politics and Governance are inextricably connected.”

She admonished every one to be calm and peaceful that things will normalize soon.
