WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU COME AROUND THE THINGS OF GOD?

Psalm 27:4-5;

Coming regularly into an atmosphere of the anointing fertilizes divine things in you. The word of God, the grace of God and the anointing of God; these three things fertilize divine things in you.

You cannot stay at home in your family house and expect the gifts of the spirit to grow in you.

You cannot receive prophecy in a chemistry class because what is happening in the chemistry class was not meant to fertilize the gift of the spirit in you.

Therefore, you need to come to church and to your quiet time with the understanding that the things that pertain to your spirit man will receive nourishment and fertilization for further growth. You may be a tailor, a banker, a lawyer, teacher or whatever you do for a living but after some time, you suddenly notice that whenever you come to church, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, the anointing and fruit of the spirit all start growing in your life. These things and others like them cannot be learned in the classroom but in the atmosphere of the anointing.

The things of the spirit that grow in you when you come into anointed atmospheres are like divine seedlings and where you tarry will determine how well those seedlings do; they can be fertilized and grow into mighty oaks by staying in the right atmosphere or they can wither and be destroyed if you stay in the wrong atmospheres. The Bible says “they that are planted in the house of God shall flourish in the courts of our God.”

The things of God flourish in the atmosphere that God set for them. You will normally develop a desire to pursue the call of God upon your life that was not there before; this grows because you are exposed to the atmosphere that fans those things to flame. The truth is that even in the same church, some people miss the peculiar meetings that should lead to the germination and fertilization of the divine things in their lives.

Don’t miss those meetings, even if your church did not make it compulsory, you should always be present where God is supplying help. Church is school, the Bible is the textbook and the Holy Spirit is the teacher and the devil is the examiner. God will allow the devil set the exam, and you will sit for the exam whether you attended the school or not. Don’t miss school when God is supplying help.

Lord, I see the way you have arranged my help and growth of the things of God in me;
I decide today to prioritize your presence in the church assembly and in my quiet time, so help me God in Jesus Christ name.
